Okay, let's not drag crap up out of the past. While those are very piercing points, they're not going to help us now RED. That incident didn't go unanswered. There were consequences for that thread and those posts, and it's behind us now.

Back on topic i think Mel is obviously a flawed person as we all are, our thoughts and actions often betray us, right KB? But he's a talented filmmaker and a good actor, should that be thrown out the window because he's an anti-semite? Should Woody allen films be burned because he's a pervert? Should Roman Polanski be discounted because he's accused of rape?
You would lose out on alot if you can't respect that humanity is a huge ball of endulating horse**** with a few corn nuggets of enlightenment thrown in.

How does the digital photography look? The trailer looked pretty passable. There were a few fast motion shots that looked extremely digital but it seemed like an improvement.
But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

The digital stuff didn't look that great. In fact, none of the cinematography looked very good. It seemed like he was just relying on the settings, and not paying much attention to camera magic. The digital shots felt weird. I've seen much better examples of digital looking good (LOTR flying shots, Star Wars).

I liked it. The digital was noticeably not film, and looked a little like Discovery Channel, but after a while you got past that.
I've always been impressed with Mel Gibson's ability to not give a **** what other people think and make the movie his own damn way. While I thought "Passion" sucked, I still commend him for taking the chance. Same here. It's awesome that this movie got made at all.
And yeah, it was Die Hard in the jungle, but it was fun. I'm not likely to see something similar to that anytime soon.

Think carefully about your own views and how you are reducing people to overly general categories
Sort of like when you said this Kaboink:
Quote from Kablota when addressing a young girl who was venting about her production troubles:
"I almost hate to say this, but if you really are a girl, now it all makes sense.
- the excessive delegation of power to a bunch of unimportant staff - the drama - the implicit avoidance of technical elements - collectivism - reliance on others
This type of crap is why many people have the perception that females are less suited to directing."
come on, you guys... gibson apologized already, give him a break Smile I believe that gibson was a idiot when he said "ALL jews are responsable". But the guys in power are... the israeli government is rulled by fascist pigs: look what they did to palestine. They forgot the holocaust and went killing innocent civilians. The palestinian response is also discusting but they were desperate. What would you do if israel invaded your country?
coming from the same guy that said 9-11 would never have happened if Gore had been elected...
