I am making a three minute student film inspired from a clip from the major motion picture Missing Gun. I will hodl the casting at the Broad Art center at UCLA because I am a design/media major.

I am casting for a middle aged (26-40) Chinese or Asian man with short to medium length hair, clean shaven neckline, and long face. Preferably unshaven 2-3 day old moustache, lightish eyebrows (darker towards the middle), possible bags underneath brown eyes.

I am also casting for a middle aged (26-40) Chinese or Asian woman with parted hair down past shoulders. Thickish eye brows, full lips, brown eyes, long nose, hoop earrings.

I will be shooting the film on the dates ranging from May 9th to May 22nd so I would like to cast before these dates. I am working on a low budget so I am hoping the actors will work for free or a low monetary amount.

The synopsis for this clip follows: A man smokes a cigarette cast in blue lighting with his back towards the camera. The next shot starts out with a married couple in bed. The middle aged husband reaches over his wife and turns off the bedside light. The camera then pans while filming a rock wall and the shows the outside of a house with lit windows. It cuts then to a man slowly raising his head while he looks at the camera. He realizes his wife is gone and then turns off the bedside light. He looks around the house for his wife in his house and finally finds her at the end of a dark hallway. He surprises her while she is washing her face in the bathroom. They talk and there is silence while she continues to wash her face with a blue towel while looking at her reflection in the mirror.


I will credit the actors and give them a copy of the finished film. I am looking for some type of head shots and I will send you pictures of what I am looking for if you are interested.

This is a very, very risky casting call.
