Hi there, this is Gav from GnC Films. We're based in the North East of England not far from Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle and I'm looking for budding but somewhat experienced amateur actors to work with me on a regular basis.

Ive been writing, shooting and directing short movies for around eight years now, and just recently some of my work has been picked up by a company in the USA. They are basically wanting me to shoot a film for them every few months or so, for which I get paid a small fee for my services. I then ship the movie to them, and they sell it on DVD. I receive no money from these sales, however.

I do all my own DVD authoring and distribue my films on DVD too; all I ask is that buyers contribute some money to the costs of the materials. Anyone who worked on the film gets a copy for free.

At the moment, I have a small group of actors, who are all good friends and do a good job, but none of which are properly trained. I am looking for more experience people, aged roughly between 16-30 to work in any future films I do.

They are all low- or no-budget films. We have a great time, Im easy-going but hard-working and you get a copy of the film for your showreel at no cost.

Regrettably, given the above conditions, I cannot offer anyone payment for their services. We do this mainly for fun, but also because some of us are trying to break into the industry for real.

So if anyone here from England (or anywhere else if you want to pay your own travel) fancies doing some free acting work for GnC Films, I would love to talk more. Photographs would be good, and perhaps a sample recording of your voice. Anyone who can do accents would be nice to have on board.

This is a great chance to work with some good people, to gain experience, and to see your name in print on a DVD. The disc would be yours to plug and show around in any way you wanted, and again would be given to you free of charge.
