Hi,

I'm a 17 year old who will be producing a no budget independant film and am looking for volunteer acting talent in Minnesota. I live in Buffalo, which is about a 45 minute drive from Minneapolis and will be doing most of the filming near my house.

This movie will be a no budget independant feature probably shot on MiniDV, but possibly shot in HD. It is the story of a missionary to China, Gladys Aylward, called No Mountain Too High. I am currently writing the script and will be filming the movie early this summer and be premiering it next Spring.

First of all, I will need someone to play the main character, Gladys Aylward. She will have to be an older teen girl, maybe 15 to 19 years old who will be able to display a wide range of emotion.

I will also need someone to play a Chinese governer, a Chinese cook, and plenty of extras, who are supposed to be Chinese, but most extras will be in the background, so it won't really matter if they aren't Chinese. The cook doesn't have to be chinese, but it would be preffered. I will also need someone to play a soldier in the Chinese army who falls in love with Gladys for a brief period of the story. This person can be in the same age range as the person to play Gladys.

So, if anyone here in MN is interested in acting or helping out in any other way, please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, it's great to know that there are other Christians out there who are in to moviemaking. Yeah, too bad you don't live closer. I don't have much for actors right now. But I have three people lined up right now who will be auditioning for the character of Gladys.
