With approval from Chris, I'd like to introduce The Ultimate Student Film Project (USFP), made entirely by film makers from studentfilms.com. It's obvious to anyone who comes to this forum and site that there is an abundance of talent and potential everywhere, well now's the time to combine that talent to create the ultimate student film.
So how will we do this you ask?... it's simple first we start off with the screenplay. All interested parties can submit their best script and out of all those recieved a winning script will be voted on. This winning script will then be made availible to all the film makers on the site who will then film and edit their best rendition of the script. Of the films recieved the best one will be voted on and then given over to the composers of the site who will compose their best talent to it to create the final film. Then the submited scores will be voted upon, creating one of the best student films ever created.

I'd love to be involved! I am living in australia at the moment, though.

That's ok ziggypop, that's the joy of the project, it doesn't matter where you live you can still submit and be involved.

How long should the script be? Is it going to be a short or is there no time limit? Or can we go ahead and write a lengthy script and then it be condensed or do we need to condense it ourselves? How many entries per person?

How do the composers get involved? Keep me in the loop.

On your site you said that the scripts will be judged by a panel. Who's going to be the panel?

The panel as of yet, has not been made, if you would like to be on the panel judging for the script part of the projectemail me. The panel will narrow it down to the top 10 or so and those will be posted on www.freewebs.com/usfp for viewing, where there will also be an online poll where you can vote for your favorite. Then after a week or so of voting the totals will be announced and the winning script will be posted for Part 2 to begin.
