Same here, I live right near dallas and have been looking on studentfilms for projects in my area. What kind of stuff do you shoot?

well i'm going to shoot a documentary real soon but i also have another project that i have been wanting to shoot it's a dark comedy. I just moved and don't really know people who would help me out or who would like to come out in it.

I'm in Dallas. I'm looking at starting a short sometime soon. I've taken film class's at USC out in LA and I'm now going to UNT up in Denton which is making me take their freshman level film class's I've also taken video production class's at Duncanville High school and North Lake Junior College in Las Collinas.

Its been awhile since i touched a camera I got into computer class's for awhile but missed the film so I'm back.

Would be nice to get a group meeting of anyone in the area. Is there a website that lets you search for actors in dallas ?? For free. Also anyone know of any cheap equipment: lights, cameras, power cables, lense's.

Houston is evil with potholes from hell. But I visit the city alot to see family. I'll normally be at Jamba Juice/Star Bucks next to the Galleria.

im from east texas and am starting on my degree in radio-television-film next year at UT austin...im glad to see there are people on here from texas.

Cafe Brazil is a 24/7 coffe shop that serves decent food at 3am. Much better than IHOP. The flying saucer is a quiet laid back sitting on couchs drinking european beer kinda place. The beer they serve is about 5-9% alcohol so its not typical American stuff.

I'm still low budget small stuff. Experimental or thrillers or music videos. I'll try anything.
