about me: i've been writing for about 10 years and acting about 5. i'm 33 years old. some of my influences are Sam Shepherd and David Mamet. i enjoy John Patrick Shanley as well. i like Paul Schroeder. as far as regular writers without a doubt my biggest influence is Charles Bukowski. honest, powerful writing. as far as actors...Duval, Hackman, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman etc.

basically i write screenplays and one-acts. did one last year off-broadway. finalist in the strawberry one-act festival. wrote and acted in it with two other people.

looking to shoot a short at the moment. the film is about a man who believes he has something wrong with him. and at the suggestion of his coworker he sees a shrink. only the shrink turns out to be something more than just a shrink. much more. he's God. or is he? the film has a plot twist at the end that shows the reality of the main character's predicament. i guess you could say it's a film about perception vs. reality.

it's 10-12 minutes. it's also a bit talky. but that's because my background is in theater. studied at the neighborhood playhouse. i would be in this one as well. probably with a friend. i really enjoy working on the acting.

looking for someone with some vision and ability. someone who has a grasp of visuals and the technical aspect of filmaking. my knowledge is limited. but the writing and acting is pretty strong. at least i think so.
