Hi.

My name is Andrea Lodovichetti. I’m 29 y.o. and I’m living at Rome (ITALY) where I’m attending a course of Direction in the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (The great National school of Cinema in Italy) – http://www.snc.it



Few things about me, first: my debut is in the 1990, but my first real film/short awarded is in the 2002: “Director’s cut”. In 2003 I directed “Untitled – stories without name”, short film showed in the “Venice International film festival”. With this short, I won many national and international awards.

By school’s production, I also made ‘Fragile’ (2004, shooted in 35mm) and now I’m preparing ‘The devil’. I’ll shot it in 35mm in september 2005.



Now: In the 2006, I’ll can be able to make a full length movie (not a short). The movie will be produced by Centro Sperimentale and I hope some other italian producers. I’m looking for a ‘non only italian story’ (I mean the type and kind of writing), wrote by a non-italian screenwriter: I want to make a great work with italian and non italian young film-maker: I’m sure that this kind of joint venture could be a very good way of work (a new way of work!). We are young, and we have a same dream: make a movie as soon as possible! Why don’t try, then?



If you have a story (drama, commedy, thrilling, teen movie), try to send it to me if you want: if I'll love it, and producer will love it too, I’ll shot it, and -of course- your name will be on credits.



In 2006 I’ll be able to make a movie: if you want, you’ll can do that with me!

I just had to.

Goodness, I would think that many people would jump like bandits to a train on this offer. Although I don't have a story to send you, I have a feeling there are plenty of others just waiting for the chance to get their idea out onto 35mm.

I don't have a story (well I do but I aim to direct it myself but I wish you all the luck. I am basically your neighbour, living in Switzerland (studying in NY though). I am shooting my thesis film also in september (12 minutes, super35mm). What I could do for you is put up a flyer at my school (new York University: tisch school of the arts), looking for a screenwriter. NYU has some top students who would love to send you a script.
