Ok, here goes.

I have posted a topic on here before regarding my need for actors. The replies I got where very helpful. Now I have an equally large problem, of finding a crew (well, sound and cinematography is all i need). I am living in England right now but will be coming over to the Los Angeles area this summer to make a short film which is very close to my heart, and as yet only really know one person in the area. I guess I am looking for young, energetic, helpful people (possibly students like myself) who would like the expirience of making the film with me and would also like something for their showreel/interviews. Im not sure if anyone around here would be interested but I thought it would be worth a try putting up this message.

Any helpful ideas would be good.

PS. Film will be shot on Super 8 (Kodachrome 40). Shooting will begin and go through the month of september.

I wish you the best of luck, LA must have the highest concentration of "starving artists" on the planet, so it may just be a matter of finding them once you are there.

You should have no problem finding a crew in the L.A. area. Post your needs and a short description of your project on an online classifieds website. (most are free) Considering your location, I can almost guarantee you that you will get dozens of replies.
