Hi guys,

I'm the brain child behind the disaster called http://www.sticktowhatyouknow.com

I have been working on this film for two years and went through a hundred and eighty thousand bucks, and my lead actress quit.

Does any one know where to get a new one in Florida.

Or some handy suicide tips, thanks.

How much footage have you actually shot that involves Stephanie? I guess if you have to reshoot any scenes, the filming process for those scenes will go a lot quicker and the result will be so much better because you already have the experience of shooting those scenes.

You are so right, we will just do a better job this time.

Well thats how it goes, I hear this happens all the time, and there is not much you can do about it.

Just look at Whitney Houston, lol, all the contracts in the world.

oh I feel your pain Frown My cinematographer quit my last project and I still had scenes to shoot...thankfully I found someone that was willing to finish for me! But if it's your lead actress...well that's even worse! All I can say is keep your chin up...filmmaking is not for the soft hearted...you can do it, just keep pushing forward!

Hire a hitman to abduct the actress and force her to work again. Maybe you'll be limited to indoor scenes, though... preferably ones without windows.

You can rewrite the script, for example.

Even its a low budget film (well, ifi read your post the budget was sky hight for a low budget film, but i mean its not a commercial produced film) than you can still offer her money, i dont know if that is any good for her motivation on screen (if its only for the money) bit if you already spend so much it would be cheaper to give her some money to do the acting (reshooting may be expensive than give her some money)
By maybe you already thinked of that...

anyway, good luck with it!
