i'm thinking about getting a new camera and i'm interested in seeing samples of work done with the DVX100a. I've seen a lot of stuff done with it from vivisting www.dvxuser.com but would like to see some more. Anyone know of films on this site that have been shot with a DVX. Thanks.

I am finishing up a project filmed on a DVX, the project is not up yet but i have some stills up to look at.

Hope that helps. Bear in mind these are compressed jpeg stills for the net, so there is some artificating that is not present in the original stills. These were shot 24p, cinegamma.

My brother and I shot our film "Chiaroscuro" with my DVX100. You can check the film out here:

I'm very happy with it. WARNING!!! Make sure that if you buy a DVX100 camera, make sure that it's the "AMERICAN" version. You can tell by these words on the box "Panasonic AG-DVX100P" But now that the DVX100A is out I'm not sure what they put on the box to show that it's American Made. Anyway do not buy one used either!!!! If you do make sure there is a warranty. If you do buy it new be sure and buy the warranty for it!!! If you have problems with it and you don't have a warranty you are screwed!! The price range of fixing a DVX100 goes from $50 to over a $1,000 bucks. Ok good luck!!
