I agree with them... the movie is good but people are putting way to much hype behind it I think student film makers like to see war movies for some reason, maybe they think they are harder to do then other films, who knows. I personally dont like them to much but I applaud the film makers for doing their films well. I just think its time people take a look at films like "Dragging the lake" or "From Scratch" ( from scratch mite be gone by now but it was one of my fav comedies on the site, not because it was super funny but becuz i liked the way he edited and the story he was telling ) Im off topic so i think ill quit now...
The only right way to tell a story is the way the director see's it... there is never a wrong way
I've given my opinion on the film, I'm just really put off by the filmmaker's constant propaganda, it's totally unappealing and makes me not want to watch the movie at all. I fully support telling people in this forum you have a movie being put up on the site, but once is enough.
We can't stop here, it's bat country!

It's not the worst here by any means. The opening shots were very powerfull, but im afraid, your script is intellectually bankrupt from here and tries to drag this sequence on for too long.
The camera does capture some interesting low angle compositions, but it feels too jerky. Of course, handheld camera shots can look very energeic when put to proper use, but your Relapse does not always put them to proper use.
The other aspect you have to work on is the editing. It feels very choppy and abrupt and just makes one feel unease.
I stopped watching as soon as the dream sequence was over. I hope my comments have not offended you.
