Damn that was a good flick. I loved the little here and there editing and camera tricks. How the hell did this guy get those girls to wear almost nothing? Very cool movie you should all check it out.

Holy cripes man. Despite poorly-choreographed fight scenes and no truly decent story, I [sarcasm] can't figure out why I like this so much [/sarcasm]. The only problem is that only one of the girls looked like they were actually eighteen, making this a very naughty movie. Otherwise, editing was neat and so were a few camera angles; which are rare for studentfilms. I like this, but really just 'cause it's a good bad movie.

and yes, it is worth watching, i know i've seen it a few times.
the thing about this film, and a few other films by Reedy, is that they arent boring, and you actually want to know what's happening next (ie-bother to watch the whole thing). they may not have perfect lighting or perfectly still camera shots, but who's perfect? its with the improvised genre that you have to generally ingnore some of those things. the other point is that his films are fun enough to watch more than once, something that can't be said about some of the other films around here. they aren't cookie cutter and have style, even if sometimes inspired from obvious sources.
so if you want "more films like his" dont try and rip him off, just be original and not so effin' boring!
btw, keep it up steve...

I don't know if you read the credits at the end or not, but Jennifer Hansen (The blonde girl showing the world that she has hit puberty) was the "producer". Now I am sure that there was more to it than just the credit she recieved, but here is a lesson boys and girls. When you make it to Hollywood and make your first film, and your leading lady will sleep with you, she either wants money or producer/director credits.
So here is our mathmatical equation for this problem:
Actress + Blonde Hair + Great Legs and Rear - clothing + sex = Good looking slut. Who can't act.

Kris once again you come off as a total genius judging people you don't even know, and a category of women you'll probably never know. I got an equation for you:
Guy who looks like a grown up version of the kid from disney's "the kid" = No girls with great legs + rear in your future.
Oops, I guess I just judged you, that's my bad.

Kris, I wouldn't be talking about stuff you no nothing about. I doubt anytime in your life you'll be bangin' chicks as hot as Jennifer in Mahri's Revenge. Wanna know WHY I think this?
MY Equation;
YOU (Kimlin)
+ Hot Girl =
NO CHANCE IN HELL
I think what you said was a little F-up about someone you don't know...and once again you seem to think how the "business" works and that all actresses have sex to get jobs.

WHOA! What the hell is up with the pic of that chick I posted?
When I found it on google I didn't really look at it and only took notice to her body.....but the face looks like it isn't hers and was placed on or something making it a fake...I dunno. Doesn't look right.

Hey everyone. You guys read right...Jen was the producer..and I'm not just talkin about knitting me sweaters and cooking dinner while I get drunk in front of the football and beat my kids. She actually produced...as in did "real producer stuff" on this movie. She's extremely hard working and actually did casting (ok ok, Amber is her sister so that wasn't too hard...but Emily was actually hunted down to be in it), bought (with her OWN MONEY) props and even did some crew type stuff when she wasn't on screen. That, and not too many actor/crew member/producers can say they are able to run around 12 hours a day in 4inch high heel shoes.
As for the "of age" thing..all 3 girls are of age. Any guesses on how old Jen is? Let's just say she has quite a collection of those theme park stuffed animals from those "guess my age" games.
But hey, thanks for everyone who watched it. That's cool and all of you are awesome. Especially those posts that talk about not being cookie-cutter. If you like that "orignal movie stuff," check out my good friend John Gehrke's workins (My personal favorite being Monkey Junkie 2). He has some well done serious flicks as well, just none that seem to be available to the public right now (what the s**t john? you lazy bi**h, get your f**kin crap in gear).
And now, a quote from Ali-G: Ali G: If you iz watching dis in da UK, you may remember me from da telly. If you iz in Belgium.... you iz living in a s**t hole.

it seems that there are too many anal people on this thread. It was simply a joke...thats all. I have nothing out for the girl in the movie. I think she is very good looking, and as they say, if you got...flaunt it. She's got it, and thats exactly what she did. Great job!

The director DEFINITELY has huge potential concerning visual style. I would love to see him direct a film with a good story, with a decent budget and with real film.
However, the syle was massively overused. Less is more.
Concerning the actors...Beautiful, that is all I can say...by the way....hey...I am looking for a producer Hey...and I got an accent, I AM FROM Europe...age 22, romantic, In desperate need of love...at NYU (I'll make you famous)..ahm...yea I look good...ahm...uh...well...I better stop writing now and go back to my script (it's about true love...
