Picture of Durden

I have seen all of Shawn's films, and I must say, he is one of the best filmmakers I have seen on this site. All of his films are solid pieces of art. I just watched "Looking For Peter" and I thought it was very well made. If there is more (he said it was condensed), I really want to know where I can find the entire thing. If you're reading this Shawn, good job man! Some of the best work on the site!

I must put in my word here. Shawn Kasinger has made some of the most sophisticated films I have seen on this site, and it rivals so much else that I usually see. His purpose with his films seems so well realized and he shows so much respect for and fascination with the filmmaking craft. "9 of 10" is my pick of the five on this site. It's one of the more well compacted shorts I have seen. I would love to get an actual copy of his work, and can't wait to see future projects. Shawn definitely seems like an underappreciated talent on this site, to say the least.

Yes. 9 of 10 is great.

It is one of the films on the upcoming Studentfilms.com DVD.

I was hoping a DVD would arrive to showcase the work on this site. "9 of 10" well deserves such an honor. I think "Bus Stop" is also of this rank, especially for what it achieves in one relatively small location.
