Non-film related, but does anyone on here read The Onion? Along with Simpsons and Conan O'Brien, it's probably some of the best humor out there.

I've read a couple of issues in the past (given to me by my brother who is a big fan). Some good stuff in there!

Kind of reminds me (a little) of the old NATIONAL LAMPOON mags. I was a huge fan of those, but I was younger too!

The Onion is absolutely brilliant. I'd say they have the best satire writers of our generation. Sadly, the only way to get the print edition in California is to subscribe .

I love the onion, it's the one source of comedy that makes me laugh out loud everytime I read it.

After posting in another link and using the term "Mr. Politeness", do any of you (that read NATIONAL LAMPOON) remember the cartoon MR. POLITENESS MAN?

He was the guy in the 40's-type suit and hat that always beat people up when they were rude in public. However, he might see a crook rob a person and the victim get angry - then beat up the victim because he was being rude to the criminal. Stuff like that.

I was thinking about this the other night and thought a similar character might make a funny short.

I don't know, just a thought.
