I hope to learn as much as I can about filmmaking. I'm sure I'll be asking loads of questions about the right kind of equipment to buy, but for now, take a look at my backyard "survival guide," shot with some piece of crap still digital camera that was 75 dollars!
Man, I must say that was actually pretty hilarious. Reminded me a little bit of a Steve Carell style of humor. I think its great that you didn't let your lack of equipment stop you from making a movie. Probably my favorite thing I've seen that was shot on a still digital camera
I would say the pacing of the video is just a little off. I think you could shave off about a minute to make it flow a little quicker, and it would work wonders for your comedic timing.
Good work!
Also, if you have questions about different types of equipment, I would recommend using the "find/search" tool to dig through the forums. There is a wealth of resources and dozens of discussions on every camera and microphone and piece of software just waiting to be tapped into.
