I can agree with that post. JPS seems like a very talented, intelligent, young man. I also think there are several others out there that fall in that category - and a few that COULD, but don't!

Me? I'm somewhere between dumb-a$$ and genius, on the lazy side!

thanks guys. it's nice to come on the site and see something like this. unfortunately i won't be posting much more up on student films, atleast for awhile. but i have completed a new music video that you can find on my site for those interested. and what you were saying about being lazy mark, it happens to everyone. i like to think that that period of lazyness can be defined as a creative thinking period, an intermission. you work pretty hard yourself, so any time off is deserved.

and there are many talented people on this site, it's an amazing thing to have a community like this. everyone participates and everyone gives back. many names come to mind, and it's an honor to be amongst them. i hope to see student films continue for a very long time. thanks again.

Thanks for the comment, JPS. As for the laziness - working a full-time job wears me down and if I have down time, it seems to have more of an negative impact on my filmmaking/writing than my day job, as I have to pay the mortgage, the car, etc.!!! But maybe all of that will change when I complete this documentary (that I've been shooting for seven months!).

BTW, I hope your not posting for awhile is a postive change and not a forced change!

Good luck!
