Now the site can't even be opened? You weren't kidding, Chris, it HAS been a technical disaster of a week, to say the least.

I second that.

The extremely funny thing is that I was just one the phone with the hosting company this morning and they admitted that they screwed up something and I FINALLY got the quicktime server back and running.

Then this happens. It will be fixed later today.

I'm going crazy here. I thought people were supposed to enjoy their weekends! Wink

I think I know what the problem may be - Dreamweaver.

I use Dreamweaver to code the site (in the code view and occasionally the WYSIWYG view) and it has been doing some strange things recently when I make changes to the live site.

I don't trust it anymore at all. It's back to text editing and ftp for me.

All I did was change the What's New text and hit upload. And all hell breaks loose.

I wish I could throw Dreamweaver out the window...but then again that would mean throwing my laptop out the window.

The error the site is getting now are Java errors - which means for some strange reason...Dreamweaver decided that I didn't just want to just change the text for me...It wanted to give me a lot of stress on my weekend.

Once again...Thanks for being patient. This is crazy.

I'm sorry to hear about all the probs you've been having Chris.

I'm now convinced that there is NO better HTML editor than Notepad on a PC, and TextEdit on a mac!

pagespinner for me. it's a souped up version of a text editor. makes prewritten tags, you just fill them in. Smile
