Actually I wish I was black so this Avatar was as close as I could get to the real thing without being beaten up by cops.

I didn't read the every post on here completely, that would take an hour. I would like to address the original topic. I think it is an excellent topic by the way Kubrick, thank you for bringing it up:
Make the films you want to make, no matter what the cost. There will always be an audience for them, you just have to find that audience. It's a big world out there with lots of people, all with different tastes and interests. Most of the people out there are stupid, they like movies that are cheap thrills/laughs with no substance. If you want to be really fu<king rich, make movies for these people.
However, there is a smaller percentage of the populus who enjoy good movies with genuine creativity and substance. Within this group there are also varying tastes and interests. Find the people that your films would interest the most and show them to these people.
Don't get me wrong, if you're into weird $hit that most people don't like, there are still a lot of people who are also like you, if all these people paid to see your movies, you would get a lot of money. The problem is, they are all spread out and hard to find. The people with your taste are swimming in a sea of people with common tastes.
But the technology of communication is making it easier for you to find your TARGET audience. After all this is not the only website dedicated to film enthusiasts. Get out there and find your people Kubrick!!
To sum up, don't be fake and adjust yourself to the audince, be yourself and adjust the audience to you.
THANK YOU, I'LL BE IN MY TRAILER!!!!!!!
David Horowitz

You did sum it up well, I would'nt want to read all the previous posts either. I can't imagine anyone learning or wanting just to make films for money at this point on the site(hence selling out). Most of us are still learning the basics, and I too am making my own films, but, I have a set audience in mind (my friencds), and keep that audience throughout the film.
I tried to point out that other ocasions such as weddings or school projects call for a diferent approach, and I feel sorry for trying to explain this to Mcrucker so many times, he must be retarted or blind. I feel sorry for you, too quick and stupid to accuse.. .
Kubrick77, when I told you to take your films to another place, I meant finding your audience. Obviously not too many people here appreciate your films, that's what your first complaint was, so that might be what to do.
