I've just put up the first film I've ever written, directed, edited, shot, and acted in, "The War at Home" , which is a political satire set in the year 2015... so far it's only got 3 reviews which were all very constructive, but I need a bit more feedback so I can grow a little bit more as a filmmaker. This film was shot in May for a film festival at my school and subsequently banned for its, uh, politics, I guess, if there was any valid reasoning behind it. So I decided to put it up on Studentfilms.com... so tell me whatcha think! All reviews and comments are greatly appreciated.
And by the way, yes, the ending to the movie is a homage to V For Vendetta.
Also, anyone know who to contact about getting my name fixed?

Ha. That sucks. Considering it had a good chance of winning, it makes the satire more effective. I posted the 3rd review. You have to wait a little while before the reviews roll in. It'll happen since the front page does highlight the unseen films.

...banned? That's amazing! I guess where you live contributes, but- as I implied in my review- the overall plot doesn't actually give a strong opinion against any particular group, rather a societal thought, which is the best kind of satire. You should be proud, though, especially in the context. It's the same idea as angry mother's organizations working against South Park (especially the movie) for influencing children; they just proved your point, and that should get you more respect for an effective- and apparently timely- production.
