Does anyone know if the Indy DVD box set has commentary on it...and also what's the transfer look like. I heard that struck it from a brand new print.

Aren't they making a new Indiana Jones? (off topic, but would like to know).

Film Director is not a name,
It's a lifestyle.

they are curently scripting (may be done by now). though both lucas, spielberg, and ford have all commited. rumors flew that connery would be back as jones's father. it was also rumored that indy 4 would be about indy's son, this isn't true. it'll be ford himself in the staring roll.

hey how come the box set is "the complete adventures of indiana jones" when a 4th one is in production and the set doesn't include the "young indiana jones" tv series? Doesn't sound too complete to me.

I have two objections:
1) It's going to be computer graphically decked out ruining the whole thing, pretty much like Star Wars.
2) (not as significant) isn't Ford getting a little old?

If your reffering to the rerelease of the box set...no, there are no CGI enhancements whatsoever. And if you're reffering to Indy IV...Spielberg has stated many times that he doesn't want to do a CGI oriented film. He believes the Indiana Jones films should stay true to their serial origins, and wants to do everything the old fashioned way. Thank god.

(sorry about clarification, I was talking about IJ IV)
Amen, Brian, AMEN!

The fact that Spielberg has made that crucial decision puts him a million times higher then George in my book.
