For me, and this was one of my first favs on here (aside from "Toast Dusters" of course.) it would have to be "Inherited Conspiracies"

I was very impressed by this flick, especially since this was made by a high schooler. Just kinda stuck with me. Great use of music for emotion.

I'd have to say Just Breathe by JP Saalfield is the best thing on the....whoops! Ha, sorry. To be honest, my favorite would have to be Without Hope by Mr. Ray himself. Ever since the first time I saw it, it's always stuck with me. Highly recommend checking it out.

should my signature be related to filmmaking considering that's what the whole boards about?

Any of Rackley's work is my favorite on the site. His films really speak from the soul and I can tell he puts a lot of work into his films, my favorite one being "The Guitarist". Rackley is a step ahead of everyone in my opinion. Also..."As deep as a coffee Mug" made by Geoff Boothby, that film is dope.

"Toast Dusters" is weak and I hope you all are joking.

Besides filming, the only other thing I ever did good was filming.

I'm a big fan of "Porclin Malice", great flick.

Also "The Gank" by the extremely talented Craig Maltby, and i'm not just saying that because he was dumb enough to put me in it. Honest Smile

My all time favorite is "Inherited Conspiracies".
But I also like the films by J.P. Saalfield.

I'm especially interested in the ones he hasn't posted....

Didn't I already post this question before? Big Grin Ah nevermind...

Well..."Toast Dusters" by far (and I'm not just saying that because I'm friends with most of the cast and one of them will be appearing in an upcomming film of mine (the redheaded TD)).

But, all biases aside, I love "The Body" by Gabe Sanchez and "Reset" by Naveen Sighn.

A few that I really liked even after repeated viewings were Takeback 2 (probably my favorite on the site), Toast Dusters, and Paid. But I also like anything by JP Saalfield who is extremely talented and Alan Denton, who makes the funniest shorts on here. I'm also glad people are enjoying the stuff I do, and nothing makes me happier than to hear Mr. R. Michael McWhorter of Tizzy Entertainment say he likes my film. I really respect you man, you have no idea how much I want to see Intersection.

Yeah, with enough soap, one could blow up just about anything.

Wow, I am in the same boat as Alan here, and I dont even have a film up, but thank you Jeff, and you deserve it. Love your work.

As for seeing "Intersection" it will be on here soon, but like I said a while back, I built it up to much, now I have to wait for the expectation to die down a bit. Id rather everyone expected it to be crappy, that ay, i wont dissapoint. Big Grin

I think in terms of funny/special effects/well made it has to be "Toast Dusters" Some Dudes is sayin it's stupid but tell me you werent impressed when the toast guy fought in the city. My movie came out a week later and i was thanking god my movie didn't come out the same week. In terms of well directed/well though out/ semi artistic I would have to say "Renter". Its just tight. Big ups to Brooklyn.

I like a lot of films on this website. I think that one of the better done films is Under the Door. It has a good idea, and the acting was great also. The ending is very creative and the POV's are good also.

Thomas!!!

The guy who DP'ed "The Body" was a teacher of mine in cinematography. One of the better teachers I had at film school. "The Body" was one of the films he DP'ed while at school. I think its got the best cinematography of any film on the site. But I may be biased.

Neil! Your in Wellington? Im In Boynton Beach Man, I have family in Royal Palm! Maybe we can work togthere. Anyway, welcome aboard.

Ahh, "The Body". I remember, i reviewed it harshly because of the plot holes, and because of my hatred for Full Sail. This lead to me actually getting to know Gabe Sanchez, and asking specifics. The Body is beautifuly shot (the best looking short ever to come out of Full Sail) and wonderfully directed, but the school managed to take the meat out of it. Suffice to say, had Gabes script been made that movie would have been ten times better than it is even now (and now its not a bad short) PLus, its 35mm. How many other shorts o here are 35mm? Just goes to show you, even at a bad film school, if you are determined and talented, you can rise above.

Id have to say Takeback 2 is my favorite that ive seen so far. SOme of the people ive gotten into studentfilms.com (See I have some friends around 5 that used to solely be in out fun little movies just for like my sake, but Ive gotten it so there like calling my cell phone at all hours past 3 during the day wanting to film movies. and most recently some of them have really begun to enjoy the studentfilms on this website to the point where they will browse the website without me or ill call them up and they will tell me to call back in twenty minutes since there watching a movie here, its pretty cool to get your friends interested in filmaking) have really enjoyed takeback and at least it was a zombie/gore film that tried to go over the top.

Tell me about it !! Getting people to actually help u for a film is a bummer, especially when they all want to go out and party etc... instead of sitting down and planning and so forth.
I am hoping to win the lottery so I can just buy some actors etc.

I need to see that tutorial though, get it done!

If you don't look I'll force you to _=_
