Most Experimental Films suck. "Orphans" in my opinion is the best film on the site (besides the cliche cut-to-black-with-gunshot-sound-ending-in-all-student-films). It is very well conceived and looks thoroughly thought out and actually has meaning behind the images displayed on screen.

The only other film on the site that I have enjoyed as much is "Inherited Conspiracies". I thought that was a pretty good film for a student. And I like the shots at the end, especially the overexposure on his face so his blue eyes stand out. Very well done!

As for me, I have an experimental film coming on the site next friday (May 16). It is called THE BLACK BOX. We made it for film class in school and it was definetly one of the entertaining films to make that I have done. It has a complex plot too. See if you can figure it out.

Alot of people used to write about Memento and how someone should try to make a short film that goes backwards. Well, we did finally! We actually didnt think of the movie at first of going backwards, but then we thought about it for a while and it made perfect sense. This movie is basically open ended. You decide for yourself what happened. I just guide you along. Anyways next friday all of you guys here check it out. Im anxious to see what people think.
