I worked on it, fun stuff. BIGMOVIE, if you don't mind, I'd like to tell the story. There were about six of us from the New York State Summer School for the Arts (NYSSSA) who ended up working on it, but it started with myself, BIGMOVIE here, and a friend of ours named Ben lying around in our dorm at the program with this blank-firing prop revolver I brought, around midnight. It was late and we all really wanted to make a movie, and I do a killer Christopher Walken impression, so eventually we got around to thinking of that russian roulette scene in Deer Hunter among other things. Then it kinda of evolved from that to wanting to make a dark movie about five guys who get together in a basement and play russian roulette. We gathered three more guys together and went down to the laundry room and from about 1am-3am we discussed each of our characters and the character's backstories and how who would go first and yadda yadda yadda... we ended up somehow, with very little planning, shooting the whole thing in one take. We inserted other shots and stuff like that, but on the whole there were very little cuts used. When we finished shooting everyone went straight to bed mostly except for me, who stayed up and edited it until about 6am. Another interesting thing is that, after the movie was edited and exported and all that, we decided to slap some music on it. Well, the music that we decided to slap on it happened to fit PERFECTLY with the finished project, which was an amazing stroke of good luck. It looked like it was going to be an unintentional 24-hour movie until we all decided to shoot a different ending the next night. After that, it worked great, despite editing on the crappiest laptop in the world (mine). Proud of it, hope people like it. Fun stuff, and I seriously reccommend NYSSSA for anyone in NY state who likes making movies.
