Thomas: You should have no problem finding a system with a DVD authoring program there at Savanah arts. Pretty common now a days. Sony DVDit is pretty basic. You can do everything but motion menus. The "Intersection" DVD looks pretty cool, now if only my partner would send me the copies hes made I migth be able to get them out there.

Yeah Tizzy. I got it covered now. I also found out that as soon as I start taking film classes, I can rent out the film equipment that they use for 6 hrs at a time. That is awesome. I start film classes next quarter (after Christmas). But still, I dont know of any other schools around the country where you can start using top quality film equipment so early on in the game. Savannah College of Art and Design is definetly based on hands on as well as the artistic medium. Which gives me a plus as far as putting my self to work. The only thing I dont like about SCAD is that they do not offer a Business class, which I think is very helpful in the producing side of the film business. However, maybe those classes I will be taking will make up for it, who knows. But I love it here. I seriously suggest anyone who is interested in film come check out SCAD in Georgia. Also they have a campus in Leconce, France, and when I am a senior here, I will live there and will study and make films in FRANCE!!!!
I dunno how many people get to do that, but Id say its awesome.

All I have to say is hurry up and apply. SCAD is becoming very competitive and is quickly developing into the most applied arts school in the country. It is growing very vast, and I believe actually next year they will be called IUA (International University of the Arts). Also there are so many people here from other countries! It is great to get that point of view from others in the world. Its really cool. Makes me want to go live in another country. WHICH IS WHERE I AM GOING WHEN I AM A SENIOR!!!!!!! FRANCE!!!!!!!!

Check it out....

Wasn't this thread orginally about something completly diffrent then france?

Back on subject, All I can say is it was a good for what is was. From the looks of it it looks like it set the bar for war films on student films. I would love to see that bar broken, not to make the lost soliders look bad, but to have more well made war films.
