Hi, I'm Steven Krimmel. ya, i just wanted to give sum background on these 2 films on the site. ya, "The Test" (http://www.studentfilms.com/film/get.do?id=710) was just simple, me and my friend Jeremy McFadden were bored at my house, and i just a got a new camera and a lil better of an editing program for my brithday. so we decided to make a short action film just one to be cool and slick, trying at least on photography just using camping lanterns, heh. so ya, that was just little fun. For "Pistoleros" (http://www.studentfilms.com/film/get.do?id=709), it was for my Spanish 2 class because we had to do videos for a final project which should have been at least 15 minutes with 2 commercials. And i decided to overdo it to show my skills, i just chose simple things to grab audiences using fimiliar great movies and homaging to them. It all started with movies i was very into at the time and writing down so many memoriable quotes from them and then figuring out ways to combine them all well in a simple film that i thought would only be 15 minutes and it ended up being half an hour. So i got together close friends that would help be in it and spent way more time thatn everyones day before it was due. I was so glad with the reaction of everyone who saw it, because my teacher showed all her classes, it was just way too much compared to everyones using toys and leaving tha camera on to read tha script behind tha camera. but i was really happy cuz that was tha first time people have seen my stuff. and now u can c it, ya it was a lot of work for me and i hope u enjoy these little films. thank u for listining and later.

i just saw the pistoleros and it was good in content but not in effect. But for a psanish thing it was alright. By the way im hispanic and tell your friends to learn better spanish especiay the godfather( not being mean) .
I like that is was an like homage to other movies like Gadfather, Scarface, Resevoir dogs, And my two favorite movies Taxi driver and Clockwork Orange.
All in all it was a good movie considering it was for spanish class and u put alot of effort. Make more movies and ill go watch them.
I havent seen test becauee after this post i have to go to sleep
Good Job!

Heh, thanks, u might be a lil dissapointed wathcin "The Test" after, cuz that was just this short experimental movie we did when we were bored. but i and others thought it was a fun entertaining lil short. But ya, pretty much full latin cast and our spanish sux, heh. ya, the godfather was pretty much reading tha whole time, lol. but i just thought his personality went well with the character. And Hell Ya, Taxi Driver and Clockwork Orange r too great. ya, this spansh project was just showing my luv to these movies and creating somethin entertaining to my audience.
