Ya, if its like a small school festival or something with meaningless prizes, mostof the time they wont care. But REAL festivals, those need you original music. Its funny you bring that up, Irony, as I do play guitar and my teacher happens to have a studio (he runs instant klazzix - www.instantklazzix.com), so i have so far recorded two songs. a full 2 minute song for credits, and a theme for an upcoming film. it is quite rewarding.

For those of you that don't have access to local music, most of which I find is not worthy of putting in film anyway, I'd recommend either Acid 3.0 or 4.0 if you can afford it. It's really simple and it doesn't take too much time or money to create something that sounds good. Or you can also surf Acid's artist page ( www.acidplanet.com) and ask if you can use any of their music. There's TONS of good stuff there. (If you go there look me up!) I have NO idea...I didn't find anything cool or unique about its selection. TACO WAGON PRODUCTIONS© "Violence in Movies? It's much more interresting to see a car exploding, than to see it parking" -Quentin Tarantino

quote: Even so, there aren't many films I've seen on this site that I would call a "Snatch/Lock Stock ripoff".
Any film on the website that deals with an average joe having to pay a debt to a crimeboss because he lost in a card game. I'd call that a 'Smoking Barrels' rip-off. TACO WAGON PRODUCTIONS?
