Just yesterday, the movie had a modest amount of modest reviews, and now, all of a sudden, there are 40-something lazily written rave reviews? I don't know about you guys, but I definetley smell a rat. Besides for the obvious reasons that someone (I'm not pointing fingers, here...) is pathetically determined to get Jason vs. Soldierman more exposure, all these new reviews have the same spelling habits, if you notice. I think this is totally unfair, and Chris, you should fix this right away.

Actually the reviews for that film that were posted are only a FRACTION of what I've received.

I only posted the ones that seemed legit...even though there were a lot of them. There was a time that I was getting 15+ reviews for that film a day. Each with all 5s and obviously fake names.

It is an interesting situation...and someone is obviously trying to boost the ratings. But if someone posts a review that seems legit..I need to post it. What if the review WAS legit and I didn't?

None of the reviews are bashing anyone. Or foul.

They're just boosting the film's ratings.

I'll go through them and remove any more with the obvious fake names.

Perhaps in the future I can add a feature that would minimize this automatically, but one step at a time.

that would be good cause Ive looked at the reviews and alot of them are being sarcastic and I think the reviews I recived for the film before when I first put it my film on here are ones that were honest and not just trying to be a jerk.

Maybe it might be an idea to have it so that only reviews from registed members can include ratings, but anyone can post anonymous reviews?

Now that's an excellent idea, BNEW. People could still write anonymous bashing reviews, but it wouldn't show up in a rating.

I think that you should take down all reviews with 5 stars for everything. No thought is put into those countless reviews, and no film is really perfect here. Maybe only make an exception if the review left a few sentences.

Yeah, because God knows this film doesn't deserve 5 stars if the filmmaker himself disowns it...although even if Eric didn't disown it, it still definetley wouldn't be worth 5 stars (no offense).

non taken, I agree it does not deserve 5 five stars. I made that film if thats what u can call it when I knew absolutly nothing. now I know a lot more and I know I could make better films then that and I planing on sumbiting two films that Ive made to prove I can make a decent narrative I also plan on taking anthor stab at stop motion again to make up for Jason vs. Soldierman.

A user registration system WOULD make things much simpler review wise.

I agree that it would make things simpler to have a user registration.

That is an idea that I have in the works.

Chris do you think you could implement a thing like www.Newgrounds.com 's voteing system? It's Probably too hard but I was wondering if you could somehow do it like they do where the more you vote and review on movies the more your votes count the next time you vote? Just a suggestion.
