Having a bit of a problem viewing movies on the site today.
The problem seems to be that the "quicktime movie" box in quicktime file types in not checked. So I proceed to fix it, check the box, hit apply, great. However, every time I apply the change, it changes back on its own. I check the box, hit "apply" and then "ok" and close the quicktime options. Then I try to watch a movie, and it doesn't play. So I go back to the quicktime options, and the box is no longer checked. I must have done this process 20 times over already, as I was convinced that I was going insane, but it keeps doing the same thing over and over again. I have no clue what's going on. Anyone have an idea?
Unless you paid for QT pro, it's not worth having on the PC. I find that it really doesn't work as well as it's non-bloatware companion "QT Alternative." It's a stripped down version of QT that allows you all of the options of QuickTime with out all of annoyances that are on the PC version.

Now that that's out of the way, I still can't go into the chatroom, even though I've downloaded a bajillion different flash players and have been able to get into the rooms at random times. My computer is wack.
