You thought it was alright? Man, that $#@! looked like it was made..wait, no, improvised, wait, no..puked up in like 30minutes just as some means to play with new camera movements and/or practice using the director's friends DVX-100 so he could shoot a movie that involved actual planning that will be on the site sometime early October. But then, I don't understand why he'd put something with so little effort on the site. That was stupider than LIPZ. I hope one day I meet that kid and like, go all Street Ballerz on the f%#r. Yah.

Some people just have too much money... I'm not going to comment on this flick other than it was horrible and oh, bouncey bouncey bouncey yada likaty spikeleetvisheque I don't know what the hell you were thinking dude. You have yet to throw a "good" movie to us... I laughed at LIPZ just becuase of the lipz character and his lips... but that only goes so far. Show some cinematography skills/writing skills. I really don't care about the acting... it's possible to get great acting out of first time actors but it may take literally 50 60 minute DV tapes and I don't know about you but I don't have that kind of cash... I mean you do put Sh!t up like that so I don't know...

1) What the "Line of Action"

2) Storytelling (cause obviously you don't understand it)

P.S.-This was like some peice of crap knock-off of another peice of crap....8 mile, but for basketball!

TOTALLY 8 Mile Rip-off! Especially the free-style rapping competition part and the giant cartoon flying Devil-Bat thing. Eminem should sue.

SHUT UP JOHN! Someone who was in a movie like Street Ballerz WOULD say that. Besides, everybody knows 8 Mile was a total rip-off of Michael Gordon's 1959 hip hop epic "Pillow Talk." Get it right or pay the price. Jerk.

Oh Please STEVE. You walk around telling everyone that 8 mile ripped off Pillow Talk. Well you know what? Everyone already knows that. Just as everyone also knows that you're a hack who's going to grow up to become a Steve Guttenberg clone. You changed your name to Steve because you're so in love with the guy. Now that I think about it, John's Chicken Supernova is a total rip off of Gutty's 87 classic "The Bedroom Window". I figured it was about time someone exposed you for who you really are.

The Goods:
I liked parts of street ball'erz. The devil thing was pretty funny and all cheese, which made it funnier...might have been better though if you ended your shot so that the back of the guy's head was actually looking at the devil in the sky. Seemed off the way it ended up. Liked the graphics at the end too.

The Bads:
Excessive profanity, some bad cuts, some bad acting, pointless story.

Suggestions:

I notice that you live in a pretty nice area of da'hood. Especially with all track housing....would have been nice if you guys went to the real hood. I would have liked to have seen a mini-doc on two white guys filming this while gangster gangsters were trying to play a game. Would have been really interesting to see their reactions and comments. Now that's a story.

Hey I liked 8 mile - I've never seen Pillow Talk nor do I care if it was an exact copy of the movie... I find it very odd because 8 mile (reguardless of was Emmy--boy says) was almost a documentary of his life.

It was inspirational because we know the success of Eminem and (at least I) respect him for not going the other way and ending up dead or killing someone for crack money...

I've grown up just like the character in the movie did but in an all redneck (instead of thug) neighborhood. Mad respect for the success. I love Em's music and the b!tching he does... he's lived a hard life and memories don't die with wealth. Although I sure they get pretty clouded... Lucky mofo!

What are you people b!tching about ripoffs for? All the movies on here rip something off - I'm sure. Also, it's not about ripping plots/dialogue or technique... It's about stealing them and using them better HAHHAHAHAHAH

okay with that said this movie about the devil-bat thing blew horribly and it just goes to show that alot of people on this site make up b.s. and sell it to us and we eat it like chocolate... Peace.
