Maybe Fallen, definitely Lachrymose and See You on the Otherside. I know there are more, I just can't think of them now.

I sent my film portfolio to the NFAA for scholarship consideration, and Fallen is what they have selected to highlight when I get down to Miami.

Really? that's awesome. I feel bad now for saying "maybe" in that last post. Haha.

Though they're no longer on the site, I have to mention the films of Shawn Kasinger (9 of 10, Bus Stop). In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled the films for that very reason.

Other films worth mentioning:
Sweden on $8 a day
Shadowboxer
Cactus
Secret Transit Codes...
Lost Springs
Staccato
SANE (regardless of other circulating opinions)

I've only seen a handful of projects on this site that I thought were well-done.

"Orphans" had a good visual style and the mood was effective. No dialogue meant that it automatically sidestepped the number one problem with student films: terrible sound.

"Secret Transit Codes" was also good, but a lot of the credit has to go towards the Stephen King story they adapted it from, and the main actor, who credible, and old enough to play the role well.

"Robot Mode" was pretty creative and definitely above the average level of the material here.
