Most student filmmakers wouldn't even attempt a war movie as they wouldn't think it would be possible. One of the most impressive student films I've seen... hey! -- Clyde www.partypooperfilms.com

Yeah just checke dit out. Very good work man, Me like. If I may ask, what were you using for the grenade hits? I know they were fireworks, but what was the name? Looked nice, especially for those up close hits. Great work man. I hope to see more. R. Michael P.S. Ooohhh Lots of questions and stuff! Thanks to all for watching!!!!! The script was 87 pages total. I rounded up the movie is actually 84 minutes. I think if I did not cut anything out that was written or shot the film would've been roughly 105 min or so. I cut out a lot of stuff for pacing and just stuff I didn't think was up to par or that was not needed. I prefer more linear films over experimental. I am not a big fan of experimental films but I wanted to try it out anyways. My favorite types of movies are epics and dramas, so this is my version of an epic (I consider all war movies epics)! The film I am working on right now is a straight out drama with no guns! (all my movies have guns for the most part). I'm tryin to hit everything pretty much and see what I like doing the best. As for accusations on being like those other films. Yeah, the basic plot is like Saving Private Ryan in Vietnam, hence Platoon. However I have never seen Born on the Fourth of July, so i suppose that is cool. Although I don't think the whole movie itself is like any of those. Nobody really said any of those things to me about the film after the WHOLE movie was over, so I don't think it is similar as it seems by the overall plot synopsis. But oh well, it was a groundbreaking learning experience for me. I think all war movies are similar and I love almost all of them, so I suppose you can say I was influenced a tad! Oh yeah, the fireworks that we bought were called mortors and we bought a case of them for like 40 bucks that had like 24 i think. Glad to see you liked it Tizzy, since you seem to be the big man on the site. Post a review! haha. Ah yess....collaboration sounds good indeed. Ah yes, one more thing? The music in the trailer wasn't mine but the music in the scene is. If you wanna hear more email me, Id post the theme up but I have no idea how. Ah yes, whatd you guys think of the music? What do you guys think of my new quote, because thats how I felt after finishing the film... "War is hell, and so is filming it." Thomas Verrette tommy21485@earthlink.net Imperial Pictures

Bryan, your film is still a very well done student film on war. I loved your action scenes, the camera wasn't all over the place. Also the begining shot of the grass ya know...and then it cuts to the guy running but the 1st sound is a bullet flying bye...holy god dude. I had the volume as high as it could be...and dude...I jumped like 5 feet into the air 'cause it scared the shi t outta me!!!! -TacoWagonProductions Q.What did the right leg say to the left leg? A.
