Okay, so, Josh and I have a commentary made for the DVD, but I have not submitted it to this site. Quite frankly, though, it is about a thousand times funnier than the movie itself.

Anyway, I just thought I would give some of the useless trivia we spout out on the commentary, in this post:

-The movie was made over a course of about ten months. This included the creation of the first figures, to the completion of the movie in April.

-It consists of around 5,000 still images total. All of these I dropped into Premiere, and used photoshop to touch up specific shots (or, add in fx).

-The final fight itself is about 1500-2000 stills, and took about 15 hours to complete. I had no life for a weekend. Hell, who am I kidding. I have no life in general...

-The figures are not made out of clay (hence, no moving mouths...which we thought were kinda pointless, anyway). All humans are made out of something called Sculpey and Model Magic, which is molded around an armature made out of dowel rods and wire. The robots are made out of random crap we just found (i.e. film canisters, hardware store parts, wiper blades from cars). The guns were made out of anything from register receipt rolls (for the gatlin guns), to razor blade covers.

-The whole idea behind abba came when I was working at my old job, and "Dancing Queen" came on the radio, and I thought about how funny/sad it would be to have a robot named ABBA.

-This is the prequel to a stop motion movie we made a few years ago, which prolly will never be put on here. Both movies have been shown at Film Festivals here at MSU. In the other movie, Josh and I are "special" forces, and now have better weapons. But still suck with said weapons.

-The tagline for this movie on all the posters was: "Switches, Glitches, and Disco B itches."

-O'reilly was originally supposed to have an irish accent, but our guy sucked with said accent, so it was cut.

-Finally: Why the hell does John know the names of all the scientists EXCEPT for Josh? Who knows...
