Damn Dan, I still can't believe you got George Clinton to be in your movie, and then I read the article and found that all you did was ask him? Crap, dude. I remember going through this HUGE process trying to get Robert Goulet in a thing that I wanted to make once (Note to all those trying to work with Robert Goulet: His wife / manager is an overprotective biatch). My newest goal is to get Planet's Funniest Animals star Matt Gallant to be in a short film I'm making. That would be totally hysterical. But I digress. Congrats on all the positive press. --Alan ------------------ http://www.alandenton.com------------------

Yeah Goulet also made an appearance on Comedy Central's TV Funhouse, where he basically was getting drunk with a bunch of puppets, and it was wonderful. Cameos like that make me think that Goulet is probably a pretty cool guy and might have actually said yes if I could have ever gotten past his wife. The scene with him was supposed to have my character having a nervous breakdown and Goulet just comes out of nowhere and gives me a pep talk and we never make reference to why Goulet is hanging around my house or knows so much about me. It would have been cool I tell ya... ------------------ http://www.alandenton.com------------------

LOL...
Alan, I think our thought processes are pretty similar. I love the idea of Goulet just walking out of nowhere, like he was just getting some milk in your kitchen or something ridiculous like that.
That's like how my Ted Nugent cameo was supposed to be. The lead character is having lady problems, and Nugent just shows up and gives him a pep talk. Unfortunately, things did NOT go well when I met with Nugent in person. Lonnnnng story. Basically, Nuge is a pretty cool guy, but his manager BOB (yeah, BOB, I'm talking about you) is an overreactive *******.
Again, awesome idea for Goulet.
