I'm just posting this to bring this films back up for any discussion. I feel it was very overlooked.
People are complaining about Shane Ryan's work, it's disgusting, etc. etc., but it's the "disgusting" work that makes everyone talk. Why is that? Maybe that's why he does it. Is there really a reason? If you think about it, probably not.
But there was definately a point to this movie that just kinda came and went past the audience. I feel it was very well shot and composed and edited, all to capture this feeling of what it is like to be alone.
It's not graphic, disgusting, immoral, etc. and this was his first short film, so I suggest taking a look at this one.
If you're interested.

Ok, now you're confusing the hell out of me. I thought you gave everything on "Isolation" 5 stars.
And make something different. How is Isolation similar to So, We Killed Our Parents? and that movie has a whole differetn style than Sane even though it deals with killing. And Poison Cure (which I thought you said had a great powerful message) and Yesterday are by 2 different dirtectors than the first 3 films mentioned.
Now I just think you like to pick fights. Go make your movies.
