Sorry to spoil this film but it is almost an exact copy of the french movie Spoorloos (the vanishing). Rent the movie and see for yourself. Dont understand why they would even need a writer. The coffin scene is completely exact down too the camera shots and the use of a lighter. The other part of the film is almost exact also.

I didn't enjoy this movie, Claustrophobia, basically because of the lack of plot and or story. It was basically three minutes of a guy digging, a girl walking, then a coffin. As for the concept of being burried alive....it's old.

Yeah, and then there was the American version with Kieffer Sutherland, and Jeff Bridges, and then there was the movie "Oxygen" with Adrien Brody, and then....

So? So what if it was a rip off? Atleast it was a short rip off, with good camera work and editing. How many "Snatch/Pulp Fiction/John Woo" rip off's have you seen here? I have sen TONS. Most werent done very well, and were WAY to long.

We all have to learn, and imitation is the greatest form of flatery, but im not sure why this flick got singled out. It wasnt the best ive seen, and it certainly wasnt the worst (not even on this site) So... rant done.
