Did anyone else become immediately attracted to this film? There was something about it that was just so cool. And it was very well done.

If you're reading this Matt, I'd like to know where you got the soundtrack for that, and what kind of equipment you used.

As for equipment...it says at the end of the film that he shot on Kodak Super 16mm with Panavision cameras and lenses.

Yeah I saw that short a whiles back. I don't see what everyone liked about it. Then again I didn't like the ever so popular Dude, Where's my Scooter? either. If that was shot on Panavision with film and whatnot... damn the compression killed it. My XL1 looks better than that. Whatever though.

I thought Television Show was terrific. Very Peter Jackson influenced (early Dead Alive/Meet the Feebles Peter Jackson). Well written, acted and shot.

Television Show was good. I agree with the early Peter Jackson influences. Kristek is underrated. Also loved Cause for Alarm.

Aw, shucks. You must be the only one. I, personally, despise Casue For Alarm and have officially disowned that film. But I'm glad some people were able to get a kick out of it.

Thanks a mil, man. I'm happy you enjoyed.

To answer your questions, the soundtrack was a completely original score, composed by Derek Kimball, the lead actor who played Oscar, who happens to be a very talented musician, as well as one of the best filmmakers I've ever met.

As for equipment, we shot on Kodak's Vision2 stock, using a Panavision Super16mm camera. We had a Panavision fluid-head, a professional-grade dolly and tracks, and I can't begin to tell you how many different lights, scrims, and filters we used.

Sadly, viewing the movie in a little Quicktime window really can't give one the full effect. The film stocks we shot on are insanely sharp and crisp, and look incredible while projected or on DVD.

Thanks for responding to my question Matt. I forgot to ask another question though.

What editing software did you use? It looked like maybe final cut, but I could be wrong.

How could you possibly tell what NLE software was used? Do the cuts "look" like FCP or avid cuts?!?!?!?! ha.

I enjoyed Television Show profusely.

I loved Television Show. It's actually the first movie I downloaded from this site, I watch it once every few days. It looks very high quality even on this site. There was a large amount of work put into it, that is truly evident. One question for you Matt... How in the hell did you do the lightning? Pure luck?

As far as Cause for Alarm, the "Sarcasm" line has become one of my personal quotes in daily life. I still laugh at that line. It seems more like something you did for fun and were not as serious about. I watch that from time to time too.

You have the equipment to transfer film to DV at Maine?

Future projects? Any teasers? :-D! Keep up the good work.
