Do you feel that silent films will be popular on this site? Because I have some that i feel are really cool. Would any of you like to see them?

The one film that I have on this site is basically a silent film (it has music, but that still counts, right?) Check it out in my profile down below.

I think silent films are pretty cool. Nothing beats Buster Keaton and his crazy antics. :P ...If anyone knows what I am talking about...

I think silent films have a certain quality that isn't aprreciated much anymore. Especially modern ones. It is always interesting to see what a director has to say when there are no voices he or she can use to express it.

In other words: Put 'em up!

This is my signature.

most of my movies dont have any dialog and the mood is displayed by the lighting or music. that makes it easier on actors because the ones i use are so great.

nothing beats F.W. Maurnau, Robert Weine and Fritz Lang. The silent german horror films from the expressionist period are awesome! Anyone here see "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari?" I just got the Kino edition on DVD along with Nosferatu, and they kick much booty. I think that's where Tim Burton gets a lot of his visual concepts though... Anyway i went off on a rabbit trail. YES! I think you should post them, because silent films kick it.

Mine was basicaly a silent film. I actualy had a script with plot points and twists and what not, but one of my actors crapped out on me, so i had to cut it down to what little i had. it's called "honor among thieves", my first submition
