i got some money for xmas and i need a new mic and ill be using it for everything (interior, exterior, etc..). i have 300$ to spend and i need a boom pole and shockmount and the whole package for this price. i have a dvx100 so it needs to be a phantom chord or whatever. i know i would be better off saving up for a nicer mic but i know ill just spend my money on boos if i dont buy one now so i need to find something fast.

Hey there,
Look into the Rode NT3:

It's a fantastic mic for voiceovers and indoor use, as it's hypercardioid, and with the included windscreen it's suitable for non-windy outdoorsy work. I highly, highly recommend it. Also it's internally shockmounted so you don't need an external shockmount, and the phantom power also goes for 800 hours on one 9V battery.

Got mine for Christmas, love it to bits.

Also for a boom pole, look into the $20 lightbulb replacer from Home Depot. It's an extendable aluminum pole that you can attach a mic mount to and use as a very good boom jib.

Alternatively, buy one off ebay:
