Hi. I've had a JVC JY-VS200 digtal camera for almost three years now, and I've been nothing but impressed with it's abilities. I've had no problems up until now. For some reason, the head seems to need cleaned. When i record things, i'll get white speckles or horizonal freeze bars that will ruin my image. Even after using a head cleaning tape, the problem still exists. I've also had blips on tapes that previously did not have them, but when played now have blips in them. Does anyone know of a safe way to solve this problem by perhaps possibly taking the loading door apart and physically cleaning the head with alcohol? Is that safe? I don't want to ruin this camera, as it is the only one that I have that is really worth owning. I've tried the head cleaning tape many times. It's not improving and only making (my) head hurt more and more. If anyone has experienced and/or fixed this problem before, please let me know. Thanks!

Don't take my word for it, but I've heard that head cleaning tapes do more damage than anything else. (I was told only to use it if the camera won't record at all and your stuck) Otherwise get it professionaly serviced, I payed for extra cleanings when I bought my camera.
