Hey guys,
We're looking to film a project in February and need a couple of cameras [specifically AG-DVX100 or XL1's]. I've looked and can't find any Video Camera Rental places around Sacramento. I posted on the craiglist, but I'm hoping you guys will know of a place. Thanks for your help.

hi. I don't know any places, but I'd love to know if u find any. I just moved about an hour north of the city and I've been hoping to rent a camera like this forever. If you need help shooting when you find a camera, I'd love to help, just to learn more in passing. Roll Eyes

hey you guys can check out another post on the forums about renting, but ill give you some info. not sure about locations near you, but ive been to a bunch in LA as well as in northern california where i live... and prices for minidv cams are pretty hefty. i actually rented an ag-dvx100 for an event some time ago and it cost me $175 a day.. plus it was a friday, they arent open on weekends, and they make you pay for all days until they reopen on monday. you may not encounter that, but you will most likely encounter steep prices no matter where you go. if you can shoot your movie fast, and your really organized, then go for it if you want. but it will still be expensive, and i imagine thats why you wanted to rent in the first place... to lower costs.
