Well, thanks to the help of Tizzy, I have solved my sound problem for the murder scenes that don't desire any dialogue.

But unfortunately (even in the worst zombie flicks) I need some progression of plot, so there are a few scenes that attempt at giving the audience an idea of what is going on .. and this involves dialogue.

I am using one gl2 to film this whole flick, and I am thinking, for the dialogue scenes, will wireless mics work better then just the mic I Have on my gl2 ?

Any tips for when I have sound in post production to make it sound better ? Gain control and what not ? I have premiere and sound forge so... any help will be beneficial.

A boom is outta the question but I have access to wireless mics!!!

If you don't look I'll force you to _=_

Yep external mics will be better. You can get closer to the person, pick up sound more clearly, and get rid of the sounds of the camera.

i haven't worked up to the level of external mics yet, but here's what i know. Built in mics suck. External is good. Wireless you have to pick. Think about you current production, think about stuff you intend to do later. Wich will do you more good, wireless mikes or maybe a wired in external shotgun or something?
