umm, I think I remember running across a tutorial on how to make a 72mm .3x or so wide angle lens for about a hundred bucks using a 67mm wide angle lens and an adapter ring. If this interests you, I could probably find it again, but I'd just be googling. Joren www.jorenclark.com"In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert's mind there are few. Here ya go!I just googled, ' 72mm fisheye adapter ' without quotes and it was on the second page. I'm not sure the quality will be wonderful, but for around a hundred bucks, it can't be bad. Oh and he said it works on a dvx100, but it may not work on all cameras. You'd have to roll the dice. Hey-oh! Just wanted to say thanks again, Joren, for the link. I ended up just cracking the lens apart and using puddy to hold the removed glass onto my camera. It worked. Here are some screen grabs with the fisheye, if you're interested: These were all shot with a Panasonic AG-DVX100a, by the way. They're grabs from something I shot over the holidays, called Rex Wilco. Thanks again, Joren! That site helped immeasurably. - Harris Dam Dirty Apes

Looks good (but a hair on the soft side). I also tape filters and lens adapters on. It doesn't look as good as a matte box or real lens adapter, but who cares. Pros tape filters on all the time. Great costumes, BTW. Really sells the look. Joren www.jorenclark.com"In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert's mind there are few. " ~Shunryu Suzuki

Funny thing, Ben -- as soon as Andrew (who plays the lead, Rex Wilco) suited up, Ace Ramano jumped into my head, and I smacked myself. As it turned out in the end, though, the characters are quite different. Rex Wilco wears a beige shirt, for instance.
In all fairness, I wrote this script about a year ago, probably before you were even born.
