I am filming something for my Professor and I need to tap into the audio system in this conference room. I was told the only way available to me is through the headphone out jack. Is this possible on the dvx-100a? What kind of cable do I need?

Just get an 1/8 inch jack to XLR cable. Mono or stereo if you need it. Be sure to set the levels and monitor with headphones!
