Probably just wishful thinking here, but I was wondering if anyone here had a used Canon GL-2 they wanted to upgrade from...I'm willing to try to work out a reasonable price...thanks a lot!

Have you already checked E-bay for used GL-2's? Although most of the GL-2's currently listed on E-bay are just stores trying to sell new ones (at more than the standard B&H Photo Video prices), there are a few used ones available.
