Im looking to buy my first good camera. And I needed a camera that was cheap and I came upon the "Panasonic AG-DVC7 MiniDv Proline Camcorder". Ive never had a real good camera and this fit my budget 909.99$ So do you think I should get this camera or keep looking? Thanks alot!

At first glance it looked like a really nice camera, but from what I saw (could be incorrect) it didn't have 3ccd. This day and age I wouldn't spend $900 on a camera that wasn't 3ccd.

Oh it doesn't have a 3ccd, dang!. Yes you should most deffinitely look for a camera that has at least that so you can get the best quality for your buck.

I know the panasonic PV-GS65 is a cheap 3CCD, around $600, the later ones in that series could be what you want.

Be carful about deciding which camera to buy. It may be that saving your money a little longer would be your best option. I bought a cheaper camera as my first, and what I should have done was save my money. Make sure it's 3CCD, has a mic slot AND a headphone slot, and maybe take a look at some example videos/read reviews.
