I'm filming the football games for my school this fall, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips. There are a few cameras which produce the game film for the players and coaches and I am the highlight guy who is supposed to capture close up action, etc. for highlight videos. I have free reign on the sidelines, stadium, etc. Tonight was the first game and I stayed on the sidelines and moved with the action as they moved down field, so I was always close to the action. Not really sure where I'm heading with this anymore, but does anyone have experience in this field?

i did this in highschool but never liked it cause my teacher was a control freak and told me not to film the people watching the game or hanging out. but i think thats much more important to preserve
