I can only seem to hook this camera up via USB to my PC.

Premiere Pro 1.5 refuses to capture it. It only wants to use firewire and doesn't even see the camera? Any ideas, or am I SOL?

PS- I've tried converting the VOB files to WMV since 1.5 doesn't seem to accept VOB. After I'm done editing that I can't seem to export it properly. It is either stretched vertically or ends up not completing the export.

One last thing. What is the best way to export for the best video quailty? Eport as a movie, or use the adobe media encoder?

Also, which one, and what settings, will give me the best results and preserve the aspect ratio?

This thing is slowly driving me batty! I'll have to pick up a manual ASAP.
