if ur looking to generate light at a certain location outside and dont have the bling. a Generator doesnt go for that much. or just get ur car buy a $20 200volt transformer and get like a $40 UV light those big ass ones and LET THERE BE LIGHT

not that much im talking $60-80. go to home depot and to light up a spot get these items:
1.$20-40 200watt converter for a car
2. a 30-50 UV LIGHT (you know those real bright ones they make for indoor plants)

and just hook the 200watt converter to urs or ur budys car get an extension cord and connect light to extension lol and hook it up nah meen

generators on the other hand could cost u anywhere
from $200-2000 ur not looking for a super expensive one. u want the cheapest. the thing about generators though is the noise level... they make so much noise so its prob for those non-audio shots. so id go with idea no.1 if u have a car... just get a long ass extension cord. no more noise.
