What's the difference between an XL1 and an XL1s? I can basically choose between having an insanely sweet camera and eating when I go to college. Sadly enough I'm leaning towards being able to afford food at the moment, but I'm still curious. Thanks

If you're thinkning about those two, you might as well get the XL1s because it's newer.

The main difference between the XL1 and XL1s is the the fact that the XL1s has improved controls, more apeture steps, and it is slightly easier to use.

there is a couple minor technical differences. try to get the tech specs on both to compare

both are nice cameras, but i would go for the XL1s, just for the better controlability
